      Hi,
Is anyone running this combination ? Wondering how the little 316 holds up.

I haven’t heard that combo. Hoping someone can weigh in.

      Respectfully,

I am running this combination, and I like it very much. I have used a number of different combinations: NuPrime IDA-8, Onkyo TX-NR676, Onkyo A-9110 with the Uni-Fi UB5s. They are all fine, but I think the NAD C 316BEE works very well–very nice clarity and separation, good musicality. I rarely turn the volume past 10 o’clock, so there is plenty of power to drive the speakers. You could spend more, but I don’t think it’s really necessary unless you go much higher in cost (maybe Rotel 1592 like CNET tried, but that is $2,500). I think a lot more power would probably add depth and “oomph” to the presentation. I didn’t feel there was a huge difference among the power sources that I tried, and I am satisfied with the NAD. I am in a relatively small space, so if you are in a large room, you may see more benefit from more power.
