ELAC Discovery Music Server Update Expands Capabilities and Enhances Performance

June 30th, 2017 – The Discovery Music Server is designed to be the heart of a serious music system, offering playback of local and streaming music, rich multi-dimensional metadata and multi-room audio, all with an interface that anyone can master in a few minutes. Through a software update the DS-S101 will receive a number of performance and feature enhancements including new multi-room capabilities allowing music to be streamed to both ELAC and other popular networked speakers/products brands.

The Discovery’s award-winning user interface (Roon Essentials) has also been updated drastically improving the overall speed of the UI. Other enhancements include improved playlist management, database/metadata back-up capabilities, new media tagging capabilities, a new music track interface, and many other “under the hood” enhancements.
